Local Organizations

The Maryland Bird Conservation Partnership (MBCP) is a coalition of organizations who have the collective expertise and experience to stabilize declining bird populations through conservation, research, community science, and community engagement. Our focus is protecting and restoring the habitats of and reducing threats to the 143 Species of Greatest Conservation Need in Maryland’s State Wildlife Action Plan.

Safe Skies Maryland (MOS)  was created to empower citizens to know what to do about the significant threat that windows and other structures pose to birds, to have direct access to the most scientific and technological information, and most specifically, to know how to prevent it and protect birds for future generations.
